For over 125 years, Immanuel Lutheran Church has stood on the prairies northwest of Lincoln, gathering people around God’s Word, prayer, and the gifts of Jesus Christ.
Founded by farmers from Zion Lutheran Church, Immanuel remains a small rural congregation where Christ continues to come near to His people with mercy, forgiveness, and life.
The name Immanuel means “God with us.” That is the heart of our hope: God has not left sinners alone. He has come to us in Jesus Christ, who died and rose to forgive us, and who still gathers His people to hear His Word and receive His gifts.
So come and receive His gifts. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your background, Christ came for all of us: for the people brought up in church and the people who have never been; for the people who seem to have everything figured out and the people who feel like they are falling apart.
We are all sinners. So Christ came for us.
So come, and see that Christ has come for you.
